The Wurtsboro Board of Trade

We are searching for mural artists to create large-scale exterior paintings, directly on the wall of several selected buildings along Sullivan Street in Wurtsboro NY. The Paint the Town Mural Project is facilitated through the Wurtsboro Board of Trade and is in conjunction with the Founders' Day Street Fair. 

 

Artists will have from June 30th - July 12th, 2025 to complete the painting process. You also must be available to attend the Founders' Day Street Fair on July 12th (11am-5pm) during which time you will have the opportunity to add finishing touches to your work, sell any original art or merchandise and interact with the community.

 

Artists will be compensated according to the scale of the wall for which they are chosen. All walls will be prepared and primed ahead of your arrival. You will be responsible for purchasing your own paint and supplies. 

 

We are seeking to promote artists from Sullivan County, NY with prior mural painting experience. However, all artists may apply.
